ISR Performance - 240sx S13/14 -Weld in Transmission Tunnel Clearance kit

Our weld-in transmission tunnel clearance kit for the S13 and S14 240SX. The proper way to add the clearance needed for a larger transmission swap (350Z 6-speed and similar) without resorting to the hammer-and-pray method that bends the crossmember mounting points and offsets the entire driveline.

What It Does

Provides four pre-bent steel reinforcement plates that you cut and weld into the factory transmission tunnel around the crossmember mounting points. Adds over 1/2" of additional clearance, gives you straight, square mounting points for the crossmember to bolt to (instead of the distorted hammered metal that ruins driveline angle), and lets you remove the upper brace so ISR swap kits can sit the transmission higher up than any other swap kit on the market. Better driveline angle, better ground clearance, no compromise on chassis rigidity.

Fitment

Fits the Nissan 240SX S13 and S14 chassis. Requires cutting and welding the transmission tunnel; professional installation strongly suggested. Pairs with our ISR swap mount kits and transmission crossmembers (IS-TMCOE-S1314) for upgraded transmission installs like the 350Z 6-speed conversion.

Important Note

This kit is pre-bent and cut from raw mild steel. It ships with flash rust from the manufacturing process and needs to be prepped (deburred, cleaned) before fitting and welding to your vehicle.
